Clinic Overview

The Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinic at University of Minnesota Medical Center provides compassionate, coordinated care in all phases of the transplant process: from pre-transplant evaluation and diagnostic testing to immediate post-transplant and follow-up.

Since the program's inception in 1968, we have performed more than 3,700 blood and marrow transplants, making this one of the largest and most accomplished BMT programs in the world. We have the largest and most comprehensive umbilical cord transplant programs in the country. We look forward to providing you with compassionate, comprehensive, coordinated care through every phase the transplant process.
