Clinic Overview

The Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinic at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview provides compassionate, coordinated care in all phases of the transplant process: from pre-transplant evaluation and diagnostic testing to immediate post-transplant and follow-up.

Since the program's inception in 1968, we have performed more than 3,700 blood and marrow transplants, making this one of the largest and most accomplished BMT programs in the world. We have the largest and most comprehensive umbilical cord transplant programs in the country. We look forward to providing you with compassionate, comprehensive, coordinated care through every phase the transplant process.

Pediatric services

To better serve you and your family, pediatric services at the Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinic has moved  to a new location closer to the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital. Our clinic space for children is located at 2450 Riverside Avenue, in the Riverside East Building in the new Journey Clinic: Center for Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant. The new clinic offers a patient- and family-centered care environment that complements the new University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital.
