Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women. Breast cancer comes in several different forms, which vary in their ability to spread to other parts of the body. Each type of breast cancer behaves uniquely, and accurately identifying the specific type is essential to effective treatment.

The multidisciplinary team at the Breast Center offers a comprehensive approach to screening, diagnosis, treatment and survivor support. Our team of specialists includes surgeons, radiation and medical oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, genetic counselors, nurses, rehabilitation therapists and social workers. As experts in the many facets of breast cancer care, our team members bring the latest knowledge in each specialty area, including advanced digital mammography and diagnostic imaging. A nurse program coordinator orchestrates all aspects of your care and serves as a communications link for you and your family.
