Notice to patients
Summer construction notice to patients - Construction may increase dust and soil amounts in the air. This can raise the risk of immunocompromised patients developing Aspergillus infection or other problems.
What can you do?
1. Wear a high-efficiency filtration mask (N95) to protect yourself from excessive dust exposure when near a construction area. (Masks can be purchased at Home Depot or Walgreen’s, or you may obtain one at your clinic.)
2. If you’re coming to the U of M East Bank, use the tunnel from the patient parking lot on Harvard and Delaware St.
Questions? Please call your clinic or ask your care team at your visit.
