For more than 40 years, University of Minnesota Physicians and University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital have led the field in developing novel therapies and providing compassionate, innovative care to those in need of blood and marrow transplant (BMT). Our pediatric BMT team offers the highest quality treatment along with personalized care that is based on each child's unique situation and needs.

Utilizing the expertise of our physician-researchers, we continually improve the safety and effectiveness of transplant therapy. We also have the world's largest adult and pediatric umbilical cord blood transplant program, making BMT an option for nearly all patients.

  • Leukemias and lymphomas
  • Aplastic anemia & other bone-marrow-failure syndromes
  • Hurler syndrome, ALD, & other inherited metabolic disorders
  • Myelodysplastic (MDS) and myeloproliferative diseases
