Who We Are
University of Minnesota Physicians Heart at Fairview is a team of doctors, nurses and staff that brings together a deep understanding of academic medicine with advanced cardiac skills to provide life-saving care to people with heart disease.
The group was formed in October 2008 when the University of Minnesota Physicians cardiovascular division, Minnesota Heart Clinic and Fairview Health Services established an integrated cardiovascular service line with two goals:
- Bring together university- and community based services o provide the finest patient care
- Become one of the top 10 cardiovascular programs in the nation
The program is one of the largest cardiology programs in Minnesota and offers comprehensive range of cardiovascular services, including:
