University of Minnesota Physicians Heart has expanded the number of cardiologists and range of services for patients located south of the Minnesota River. Our Heart Center on the Ridges Campus in Burnsville includes our outpatient/clinic center which sees patients five days a week for general and subspecialty cardiology consultation, diagnosis and care. Patients have access to our nationally recognized congestive heart failure/cardiomyopathy program (C.O.R.E. Clinic); device (pacemakers and defibrillators) clinic, and heart rhythm and electrophysiology specialists; and heart and vascular diagnostic imaging services. Our Heart Center also has seven days a week hospital inpatient services. 

In 2009, we added a state-of-the-art cardiac and vascular catheterization laboratories with diagnostic and treatment programs. This allows us to provide additional services, including care for emergency and ongoing heart conditions.
