Symbol of excellence

The Adult Heart Transplantation program at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, is the only Minnesota center to receive a 2010 Medal of Honor from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for its one-year transplant survival rate. As the most experienced heart transplant program in Minnesota, we have performed more than 700 heart transplants since 1978.
