Clinic Overview

At the Weight Management Center, we bring together the resources and expertise to help older teens and adults whose health and well being is impacted by extra weight. We specialize in patients who are seeking a nonsurgical, long term approach to weight loss, however we work in tandem with the Weight Loss Surgery Center.

Getting to a healthy weight is tough. The causes of excess weight are many and complex--we understand there is more to weight gain than just calorie or energy imbalance. As we assess your situation and design a treatment plan, we take into account all the factors that are contributing to your weight.

We’ll help you move towards a healthier weight by designing a comprehensive, individualized treatment based on current scientific research and understanding of excess weight. We use many of the resources offered by UMPhysicians.
