Outpatient Obstetrical Care
Our dedicated team of obstetricians and certified nurse-midwives (CNMs) provide prenatal and post-partum care at our clinic in the Riverside Professional Building, conveniently located next to the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview hospital. The nurse-midwives and physicians work closely together to provide optimal care for women with a belief in treating the whole person, while employing personalized, evidence-based care.
Specific pregnancy care includes, but is not limited to:
- General prenatal visits and exams
- Nutrition counseling in pregnancy
- Health coaching about pregnancy, labor and birth, and infant care
- Integrated pregnancy care including acupuncture and massage
- Obstetric ultrasounds
- Prenatal testing for birth defects including Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villi Sampling, and First Trimester Screening
- Postpartum care
Labor and Birth
For women expecting a baby, our nurse-midwives and physicians deliver babies at The Birthplace, as the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview.
