Pediatric Specialty Clinics Moving May 10

The Pediatric Specialty Clinics at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital have moved.

To better serve our patients and their families, most pediatric specialty services have moved from current locations on the University of Minnesota East Bank (formerly referred to as “University”) to several new locations on the West Bank (formerly “Riverside”).

The new clinic spaces will offer additional specialties, larger exam rooms and more lab stations, all in a patient- and family-centered care environment that complements the new University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital.

The clinic moves will bring children’s services together on the West Bank, next to the new, state-of-the-art University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital, which opened in April. The new hospital will have a pediatric-only emergency department for infants to adolescents, and will provide world-class academic medical care for mothers and children with common-to-complex medical conditions in more than 50 pediatric specialties.

Services that will remain on the East Bank of campus include Autism Spectrum and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Clinic and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatric Clinic (located at 717 Delaware Street), and pediatric primary care at the Primary Care Center. Pediatric Eye services will move in June.

Services formerly provided in the Pediatric Specialty Clinic will now have two locations:
