University of Minnesota Physicians and University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital provide comprehensive care for children with malignant and nonmalignant diseases. Our expert team of hematologists/oncologists is available for children with anemia, including sickle cell disease and congenital anemias, disorders of blood clotting, cancer and immune deficiency, as well as long-term survivors of childhood cancers. We have access to conventional and innovative therapies created at the University of Minnesota and throughout the United States. Many treatments for children with cancer were developed by University of Minnesota Physicians and are part of national treatment standards.
