Primary care pediatrics

You might expect University of Minnesota Physicians pediatricians to take on the most complex and challenging cases – and we do. But we also bring that same level of excellence to the day-to-day needs of healthy children and those with routine or chronic illnesses. We collaborate with parents to help kids maintain good health, nutrition and emotional well-being from birth to young adulthood. And if your child does need specialty care, we’ve got it amply covered.

As faculty of the University of Minnesota Medical School, our providers also conduct research and apply what they learn to help prevent and treat pediatric illnesses. Through our leadership in research, teaching and clinical care, we strive to improve health for all children and youth in Minnesota and throughout the world.

Services we offer include (but are not limited to):

  • Comprehensive physical exams
  • Immunizations (vaccines)
  • Mental health care
  • Multicultural care
  • Patient education
  • Preventive care
  • Teen care
  • Smoking cessation
  • Travel medicine
  • Well-baby and child checks
